Former county administrator Nathan Burd returns to Livingston county.
Nathan Burd, former county administrator(2020-2023), is moving back from Nassau, Texas, after taking a position in September as city manager.
Burd vacated his position as county administrator effective September 1, 2023. Stating in his resignation letter from July that he "loved being county administrator here. It's been great!" But the call of city management (his background) was an appealing draw.
In the interim of Burds departure, Cindy Arbanas (county CFO and deputy county administrator) has been acting in the position until the position was to be filled by the commissioners.
We welcome back Mr. Burd and wonder if the agenda item for Monday's county commission meeting means he will be stepping back in to his position with our county...
